Governors

The governing body of the school is responsible for ensuring the school provides the best possible education for the children and to see it fulfils all the requirements laid down by law. The governing body is made up of a variety of different types of governor.

Members of the governing body will be happy to discuss any school issues. The governors meet at least once a term to deal with their areas of responsibility and governors form small working groups to deal with issues of finance, property and health & safety, strategy and standards. Governors have regular contact with the staff and children through visits and school activities and events.
