After studying Shakespeare’s ‘Sonnet 18’ we were given the task of creating our own sonnets based upon subject matter of our choice.
The sonnet has a strict structure; it should be 14 lines in length and the lines should fit this rhyming pattern: ABABCDCDEFEFGG.
In addition to this, each line should be 10 syllables long.
